Various minor improvements or corrections.

November 2009

Improvements to copying selected consignors and unsold items from one sale to another.  Now recognizes that some work on more than one sale at a time.
Improved check writing including checks to non-consignors.
Improvements to importing items from special Word, Excel, or Open Office documents including ability to reset starting item number.
Improved ability to report on notes.  New capability to delete selected notes from previous sales.

September 2009

Export Wizard exports data about names, consignors, items, sale results, etc. to dBase file or csv file that can be used with spreadsheet.  Accessible from File>Export.
Transfer selected consignors from one sale to the newest sale by selecting consignors and right-clicking in the Select column.
Add multiple copies of same item by right-clicking on the Add button on the Add Items form.  Saves lots of time for owners selling multiples of the same item.
Option to send consignor results by email.  Formatting may vary as viewed by consignors with different email programs.
New report of consignor numbers that have been used in previous sales.  Good way to identify numbers that have not been used for several sales.
Mac users can enter data in a Google doc which can be imported into TIM.  Then tags can be printed to a PDF and sent back to the consignor for printing.

April 2009

Several new features help those using TIM for a tagging service:
Send consignors a Word or Excel template to fill out with their items.  Then "copy" the items into TIM and print labels or send a PDF back to the consignor to print their own labels.
Copy unsold items from one sale to the next sale by right-clicking in the Tag column of the Items tab of the main module.  Find "Tag Column - Items Tab" in TIM help files.
Set the starting item number when adding a new item for a consignor (right-click on the item number in the Add New Items form).  This makes it possible to avoid duplication of item numbers from a previous sale for a consignor.  It also makes it possible for co-owners to use two copies of TIM and enter items for the same consignor number.
Export items for a consignor from one copy of TIM, send as email attachment, and import items into another copy of TIM.  This is the same as the export/import from TagIt or TagItLite into TIM.  This also makes it possible for co-owners to work from separate copies of TIM.  See the Export and Import from File buttons on the Items tab of the main form.

Copying data so that it does not need to be re-keyed:
If people can sign up for your mailing list through your website, most likely you receive an email from your website.  You can probably set up TIM so that you can highlight the name and address information on the email and copy it into TIM's Name module.  Press F1 for Help and find "Copying Names from Clipboard" for more information.
Use Word or Excel templates with consignors.

Domain names are now memorized when entering email addresses for names.  A single keystroke might enter yahoo.com or hotmail.com.

New barcode reports analyze the number of tags where barcodes were successfully scanned by consignor.  Use these reports to improve barcode usage and scanning at your next sale.  Look up "Barcodes" in TIM help files.  Tips for increasing barcode usage.

Would it be helpful to have a list of checks when preparing a deposit?  Look up "Deposit Checks" in TIM help files.

If you use the Schedule/Task Manager module, you may be able to generate web pages that list the volunteer openings.  You may be able to cut and paste the information into your website and update it as openings are filled.  See "Create Web Pages..." in TIM help files.
