How do I import a sale profile?

1. SAVE the download.  Do not open the downloaded sale profile.
2. Then "import sale profile".  See instructions for TagIt or TagItLite!

Each consignment sale has its own rules that determine the content and layout of sale tags.  While you are ultimately responsible that your tags meet sale requirements, TagIt works with consignment sales to make it easy for you to download a "sale profile" that you can import into TagIt or TagItLite.  Of course, it is always easy for you to create a profile for each sale as well in TagIt.

If you do not see a "sale profile" for the desired consignment sale, ask the operator of the consignment sale to visit this website and look at the Partner section.  Or email us with information and we will contact the consignment sale.

Remember that it is always a good idea to print a test page of tags well in advance of a sale in case adjustments are needed to your printer properties.  If you experience printing problems, go to Printing Issues.

Note:  Use of these downloads requires TagIt software!  Some sales provide TagItLite and send consignors the required username and password.  Importing a sale profile into TagItLite will reset the expiration date and remove all items entered for a previous sale.  (Items are not removed in TagIt.)
