Color tags

Using different color tags
for donated or discounted items

Some sales require that different color tags be used to indicate different things.  For example, white tags might be used to indicate that unsold consignor items will not be donated and colored tags to indicate that unsold items will be donated.
Using this example for tag requirements, here are two ways to handle printing tags:

Method One
In the "Selected Sale/Tags" tab ("Sale Items" tab for TagItLite), right-click in the "Tag" column.  Choose "Clear All".  Right-click again and chose "Tag Not Donated Only".
Click on the "Create Tags" button.  Be sure to load white cardstock into your printer.  Print tags using your best print setting.
After printing, mark printed tags in the "Done" column (TagIt and TagItLite automatically prompts and does this for the user.)
Right-click in the "Tag" column again.  This time choose "Tag Donated Only".
Click on the "Create Tags" button.  Be sure to load pastel colored cardstock into your printer.

Method Two (Print single page of tags at a time - TagIt only)
In the "Selected Sale/Tags" tab ("Sale Items" tab for TagItLite), right-click in the "Tag" column.  Choose "Clear All".
Right-click in the "Donate" column.  Choose "Select filter.." and then choose "Not Donated Only".
Right-click in the "Tag" column.  Choose "Tag (x) items".
Click on the "Create Tags" button.  Be sure to load white cardstock into your printer.  Print tags using your best print setting.  Repeat the previous step again as needed.
After printing, mark printed tags in the "Done" column (TagIt automatically prompts and does this for the user.)
Right-click in the "Donate" column.  Choose "Select filter.." and then choose "Donated Only".
Right-click in the "Tag" column.  Choose "Tag (x) items".
Click on the "Create Tags" button.  Be sure to load pastel colored cardstock into your printer.  Repeat the previous step as needed.
