Displaying Hidden Folders and Files

Sometimes Windows hides certain folders and file. You may need to change the settings to display hidden folders and files.

In Vista or Windows 7 open up Computer or Windows (or My Computer) by clicking on the Start menu and selecting Computer. A shortcut is to hold down the Start (Windows) key and press E.

(1) Click on the Tools menu and select Folder Options.

(2) The Folder Options form opens.

(3) Click on the View tab.

(4) Click on the radio button for Show hidden files and folders. Click OK at the bottom.
