If you have too many fonts on your
computer (some suggest that there should not be more than 500
fonts) and the barcode font is not working correctly, a good way
to remove fonts is with a font manager. One free program
is the AMP Font Viewer.
Click
here to learn more and download the program.
Here are some
suggestions for using the program after it is installed.
1. Click on the Options menu
and select Options.
2. Make sure that "Make a copy of the fonts before
uninstalling them" is checked.
3. Create a place for the copy of the fonts. The
default is My Documents. You might want to create a
subfolder so that it is easier to find the uninstalled fonts.
4. Click on the View Font List button.
5. Click on the fonts you want
to uninstall or Ctrl-Click to select more than one font.
6. Right-click and select Uninstall selected fonts.
7. After uninstalling fonts
reboot your computer and try using TagIt or TagItLite again to
see if the barcode font appears on tags instead of just numbers.
Try uninstalling more fonts if not successful. Consignors
who have done this report different numbers they have
uninstalled or deleted.
