A. I am downloading again because when I double click
on the downloaded file (tagitlitesetup.exe), I get an error
message that the file is corrupt. |
|
If that is the case, you may need to try several times if the
file does not completely download and gives you a "corrupt file"
error. This may be caused by a slow internet connection or
other factors. It is a good practice to delete the
"corrupt file" before attempting a new download. |
|
Do you have access to another computer? Try downloading
from it, copy tagitlitesetup.exe to a USB flash drive, and
install on your computer. |

B. I am pretty sure I downloaded the file but I cannot
find it! |

| |
| C. I am not sure if I got a good download because I
get an error message when I click on the TagItLite icon that was
installed on my desktop. |
| If you get an error message after clicking on the TagItLite
icon, downloading and installing the program again may not solve
the problem. An error message like "could
not initialize BDE" could mean several things. A
common mistake for Vista or Windows 7
owners is to miss the step about setting the compatibility mode
to XP. |
| |
| D. Security software |
| Several people have reported that they think the settings on
their security software interfered with downloads and turned off
some security features temporarily for the download. |
| |
| E. Business network |
| If you are downloading at work from a business network, it
is possible that the network prohibits certain types of
downloads. Check with your network administrator. |
