"Could not initialize BDE"
This error could mean different things.

If you have the Vista or Windows 7 operating system, have you set the compatibility mode to XP?

If the error occurred when trying to start the program for the first time, try the following:

Uninstall program(s) by going to Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs. Warning: This will remove any data!

TagItLite only: 1. Find TagItLite 2. Click on Remove and uninstall TagItLite

TagItLite, TagIt or TagIt Manager: 1. Find Paradox 10 Runtime 2. Click on Remove and uninstall Paradox 10 Runtime


Reinstall as described below. Watch for the following screen. If you selected "Anyone who uses this computer" the previous installation, try selecting "Only for me[]" or another option if available. If you selected "Only for me" the previous installation, try "Anyone who uses this computer">

TagItLite:	Install from the tagitlitesetup.exe file on your computer. If necessary, download the file again by clicking here. (The Paradox 10 Runtime program is included in the TagItLite installation program.)
TagIt or TagIt Manager:	Install Paradox 10 Runtime from pdx10run.exe. You should already have it on your computer. If necessary, download again by clicking here.
