"Option" Fields on Tags

New fields were introduced for TagItLite 1.0.8 and TagIt 1.2.3 for use by some sales with a specialized need.  These fields are called Option1 and Option2.  They differ from other fields on tags since the same information will show on all tags whereas other fields will show the information pertaining only to that item.
Use the Option1 and Option2 field only if instructed to do so by a particular sale.  For example, a sale using "group codes" to help with sorting items may assign a code that should be the same on all your tags.  They might instruct you to enter "BA12" in the Option1 field and someone else to enter "GD3".
Here is how to do this in TagItLite or TagIt.  If your screen does not look like these screen shots, check to see if you have the most recent version.

TagItLite

1.  Click on Help menu on the upper left when the TagItLite Main Form is open.  Then select Lookups.

2.  Click on the Settings tab of the Lookup  Options form.

3.  Follow the instructions from the sale.  E.g. enter BA12 in the Option1 field.

4.  Check "Don't show Option Settings form when printing Tags" if you do not want a reminder form to show each time you print tags.

Click on Exit to close the Lookup Options form.

TagIt

1.  Click on Help menu on the upper left when the TagIt Main Form is open.

Note to sale owners:  If you are using TagIt Manager, go to File>Lookup Options and Settings>Tags>Options for the equivalent.
