What a "Sale Profile" file
looks like |
|
|
|
If you are having trouble after downloading a sale profile, it
could be because you have opened the download rather than saving
it. SAVE the download! |
| The download is a compressed file
that ends in a zip extension. The name of the file usually
includes the name of the sale, the state abbreviation, and the
first day of the sale. (Some computers settings may not
show the extension.) |
|
|
|
CORRECT - Here are two examples of how the downloaded file may
appear in the folder where you save the download. TagIt,
TagItLite, and TagIt Manager process this compressed file after
you click on "Import Sale Profile". |
| The downloaded sale profile should look like
this if your computer shows large icons. |
 |
| |
|
| This is how the file may appear in
My Computer if the display is set to "list". |
 |
| |
|
| |
|
| WRONG - If you see a
number of different file names like the two examples below, you
have opened the compressed file. You cannot do anything
with the individual files in compressed sale profile. Do
not try! |

|
| A few people have trouble
downloading without opening the file. This could be
because you have WinZip and it is set to open compressed files
automatically. Try right-clicking in your browser on the
sale profile you are downloading rather than left-clicking. |
| |
|
| This example is using Internet Explorer where a
menu open after right-clicking on the profile. Choose Save
Target As... The Mozilla Firefox option is Save Link As...
...then follow the prompts. |
